FIT MAMA, training & coaching

Research shows that strength training during pregnancy does good for the health of both mother and child. It helps you maintain a healthy weight, controls mood swings, helps you to sleep better, keeps your blood pressure low and reduces the risk of gestational diabetes and pelvic related complaints. And last but not least, a fit body ensures that you can handle giving birth better and ensures a faster recovery after giving birth.
After giving birth, it is important to become strong and fit again by doing safe and focused exercises with extra attention to the pelvic muscles and the core.
 
Reason enough to (continue to) train during your pregnancy and to pick it up again from 6 weeks after delivery. We can imagine that you find that a little scary because you may be unsure about which exercises you should and should not do and with what intensity. That is why our specially trained MAMA trainers Chrissie and Merit have put together a safe and targeted program.
 
What is FIT MAMA?
A new 8-week program especially for pregnant women who want to stay fit during pregnancy and for women who want to recover responsibly after giving birth.

What can you expect from FIT MAMA?
-8 weeks of training twice a week (1 morning and 1 evening) under professional supervision.
-Training in a group of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 mums and/or mums to be.
-Every week is about an interesting and relevant theme that we will discuss in more detail.
-Free childcare for older children during morning trainings.
-Use of all Aerofit facilities during the 8 week program.
-Access to a private Facebook group with other (former) participating moms (to be).
-Member of a network/community of women in the same phase of life.

When does FIT MAMA start?
We start with the first training in the week of January 20, 2020. The training will take place at Aerofit on Monday morning from 10.30-11.30 and on Thursday evening from 20.00-21.00 The program will take place with a minimum of 4 participants.
 
What does FIT MAMA cost?
€ 280 for non-Aerofit members
€ 199 for Aerofit members
