Osteopathy, take good care out of your body!
OsteoHolland, practice for Osteopathy, will open its doors within Aerofit from 1 February. Thom Stoop and Sascha Bargi, both former physiotherapists, successfully completed their follow-up study in Osteopathy (MSc.) in the autumn of 2021.
What is osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a fast-growing manual form of treatment, without the use of operation or medication. In osteopathy, the cause of the complaints is sought and addressed, looking at the person as a whole. In addition to treating complaints, osteopathy can also be used preventively by optimizing someone's health.
What does an osteopath do?
An osteopath uses proven techniques, such as manipulations, mobilisations and connective tissue techniques with the aim of improving the nerve system, blood circulation, joints, muscles, skull, and organs.
Osteopathy can be useful in case of:
✓ Pain in the musculoskeletal system: neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee, ankle, foot, elbow, wrist, and hand.
✓ Stomach and intestinal complaints: such as irritable bowel syndrome, complaints in Crohn's disease, celiac disease, constipation, diarrhea, and intolerances.
✓ Reduction of additional complaints in many diseases: such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, sleeping problems, burnout, and recovery after COVID.
✓ Sports injuries: such as tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, runner's knee, and jumper's knee.
✓ Optimizing overall health.
An osteopath often works together with doctors, general practitioners, physiotherapists, and massage therapists.
Do I have to have complaints for osteopathy?
No, an osteopath optimizes health and therefore also works preventively.
Improved sleep, less stress, more energy, and literally better in your own skin.
